Hi! I’m Danielle, an accredited practicing dietitian and paediatric dietitian. Before working as a dietitian, I was a primary school teacher. As a teacher, I naturally gravitate to providing people with the information they need in order to make better food and lifestyle choices. I love seeing my patients learn and grow into people full of nutrition knowledge and able to make amazing nutrition choices for themselves, it truly is empowering! I work with lots of adults and adolescents to assist in helping their condition with good nutrition and dietary changes.
I am particularly passionate about women’s health and providing nutrition advice to make women feel better, healthier and more confident. Some of the areas I can help include: general healthy eating, pelvic pain, bowel problems (e.g. diarrhoea, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome), menopause, PCOS, endometriosis, menstruation concerns, nutrition through pregnancy, weight concerns and type 1 and type 2 diabetes in females. I am also a qualified paediatric dietitian so I spend a lot of times with families and their children (including helping little ones with allergies, intolerances, deficiencies, fussy eaters and much more!).
My approach is about making sure you still eat what you want to eat, but finding a way to do this and still make sure you are managing your health to the best of your ability.
